Secure Pathways Workshop - STLCC - Forest Park Campus

Join our community of information security professionals from around the St. Louis region to inspire and engage the next generation of cybersecurity talent. You will work directly with high school students to share your career story, play some fun cyber games and explore careers that students can work towards, to begin their very own career in cyber.

9:00 - Short huddle to explain the day's program, and introduce the cyber professionals participating. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with other professionals from around the area.

9:30 - Basic Principles of Cybersecurity (moderator led discussion with the students)

10:30 - Capture The Flag (Gamified online learning tool that will teach analytical thinking skills, teamwork and creativity in problem solving.

11:30 - Break for catered lunch and casual conversation with students

12:00 - Career Exploration panel (This is where you really shine)(Q&A with students about your career journey)

12:45 - Break for group picture and closing comments

1:00 - Students depart and event close.

There is nothing for you to prepare ahead of time, just arrive with a positive attitude and ready to share your career journey with a handful of students. Our team will handle the rest.
